Mr. Ebel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Minor in Psychology from Dakota Wesleyan University and currently sits as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the University.

Casperson brings 40 oil and gas years of experience to Buckhorn Energy including 15 years as a CFO of publicly traded oil and gas companies including: Whiting Petroleum and Bonanza Creek Energy. In addition, Mr. Casperson was the founder and president of a consulting firm assisting oil and gas, and related industry companies, with starting, growing and operating in the Western United States. Jim spent six years with national certified public accounting firms specializing in oil and gas companies; and, a significant amount of time with interstate natural gas companies. Mr. Casperson is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in accounting.

Nancy Roberts – Sr. Engineer: Nancy has over 25 years of experience in horizontal drilling and completions, operations and project management, production and environmental engineering, and has engineered and implemented saltwater disposal facilities.

Nancy has consulted as an engineer since 1999 assisting various companies as a drilling and production engineer including Ellora Energy, DDX, United Oil & Minerals, and Chaparral Resources. Nancy is the lead engineer for Buckhorn’s SWD wells and surface facilities.

Before joining Buckhorn Energy, Harold was responsible for the plant operations for a major midwestern newspaper where he had oversight of plant operations, production equipment and maintenance programs, managed capital improvement products, as well as chaired the safety committee and managed the division’s budget. Before that he spent time overseeing the maintenance and electrical repair programs for a heavy equipment company. In addition, he was shift lead and process operator for a chemical company that focused on the purification of heavy metals, where he researched the purification of heavy metals, did apparatus design and construction of reactors for heavy metals, programmed heat controllers and monitored the company’s supply chain. While serving in these capacities he also started and continues to run his own real estate development company focused on the development and leasing of mobile home courts.

Prior to Dorado, Bruce served as CEO of Lone Star Fasteners, a company he formed in December 2003 to acquire Lone Star Screw and Walker Bolt. He served as President of Lone Star until November 2005 and then as CEO until December 2007. Prior to Lone Star, Bruce was a Vice President in the Energy Investment Banking groups of Royal Bank of Canada and Jefferies & Company. Prior to RBC, he worked for Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans for 16 years in various commercial lending functions including Manager of the Energy Service Lending Group. Bruce serves on the boards of Vision Oil Tools, Buckhorn Energy Services, Hoover Group, Inc., Armada Pressure Control, Crime Stoppers of Houston, The Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association, on the advisory board of Amegy Bank Houston, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. Bruce previously served on the boards of Dorado Oil Service, Zephyr Gas Services and Terra Midstream. He earned a B.S. in Economics from Southern Methodist University and attended the Presidents’ Seminar at Harvard Business School.
